Assessment and Planning
Mission

The mission of the
Assessment and Planning Office (AP), Student Development and Enrollment Services (SDES), is to empower students to succeed by providing the Vice
President, SDES, and university community with leadership and guidance, research support, data collection and analysis, communication and program planning support that
facilitates improved student retention, success, and graduation. This is accomplished through collaborative partnerships
within SDES and other university academic and administrative units including national research organizations. The AP Office provides overall management and leadership for the
division’s strategic planning process, Institutional Effectiveness and student outcomes assessment, Department Performance Reviews, grants and awards proposals, operational data analysis, and division communications.
