Severe Weather and Hurricane Season:
Be Prepared, Be Informed
Florida's Hurricane season is from June 1 through November 30. History teaches that a lack of hurricane awareness and preparation may leave you vulnerable to major hurricane disasters. The most important thing that you can do is to be informed and prepared. Know what actions you should take and how you can reduce the effects of severe weather and a hurricane disaster.
