President Hitt Says Goodbye Posted Wednesday, June 27, 2018 @ 7:18 PM June 27 marked the date of 2018 Board of Governors meeting, but it also meant President John C. Hitt’s last day on campus. UCF students, faculty, and other representatives gathered at Fairwinds Alumni Center with signs in their hands and smiles on their faces to wish President Hitt farewell and to thank him for everything his 26 year tenure at the university has done for the Orlando community. The UCF Jammin’ Knights met President Hitt at the doors of the Fairwinds Alumni Center and escorted him down Gemini Boulevard with that famous UCF Spirit this campus is known for. President Hitt’s legacy at UCF will forever be ingrained into this campus and the community that surrounds us. From the UCF College of Medicine to UCF Downtown, John C.
