Student Development and Enrollment Services (SDES)
Strategic Direction
The Division of Student Development and Enrollment Services (SDES) was created May 1998 when the divisions of Student Affairs and Enrollment and Academic Services merged under the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Since that time, the division has undertaken a number of reorganizing and restructuring endeavors directed toward developing an organization that promoted collaborative partnerships to support student success. Currently, SDES is engaged in a process to transform the division once again. It is a strategy to re-conceptualize how we work together for a positive impact on students. It is the goal of the SDES Reconsidered Learning Guides that, as a result of SDES Reconsidered, SDES staff members will be better able to communicate with each other, inspire students, and assess our programs so that students gain a meaningful co-curricular experience. Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) are the framework for this new model for SDES.For more information about SDES Reconsidered, click here.
