Office of the Vice President

Maribeth Ehasz

Throughout my 23 years at UCF, one of my key goals has been student success and working to ensure that students who enter UCF are not the same students as they leave. Students should be wiser, more socially astute, diverse in their thinking and better prepared to build a brighter future for themselves and for our country and our world. Our learning-centered campus community offers enriching opportunities that prepare students to be bold, innovative and socially responsible. Students are encouraged to grow, succeed and excel.

Maribeth Ehasz, Ph.D., is the vice president for student development and enrollment services at the University of Central Florida, one of the nation’s largest and most diverse universities. She has devoted her entire professional career to helping students succeed. As vice president, Ehasz provides leadership to 28 departments, 700 full-time staff members, and over 2,200 student employees. Under her leadership, UCF has worked to provide students access to a high-quality education and innovative co-curricular learning experiences. Ehasz has received numerous awards and accolades including the university’s first VIP Diversity Award for her commitment and leadership in making diversity and inclusion visible, intentional, and a priority for her division. She is also a recipient of the National Academic Advising Association Pacesetter Award for her career contributions to the improvement of academic advising. She presents nationally on women’s career development, student success, and academic advising effectiveness.

Ehasz earned her bachelor and master’s degrees from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Toledo.

The Division of Student Development and Enrollment Services provides students with the opportunity to learn, lead, live and engage. We know that education has the power to transform lives and students have opportunity to succeed, it changes not only their lives, but the lives of their families and those around them.

Thank you for your continued support. The best is yet to come!

Go Knights! Charge On!
