On Wednesday, February 12, the Downtown Student Affairs Team hosted 20+ representatives from Downtown and main campus support services. More than 100 students attended the inaugural “Downtown Academics and Resource Fair” in UnionWest at the UCF Downtown/Valencia College campus.

This event included representatives from several Downtown academic programs such as General Education, Communication and Conflict, Culinary Management, Health Informatics, and Information Management and Public Administration. A representative from Graduate Studies was also available to speak on behalf of the Downtown campus’ 13 graduate programs.

The Downtown Student Affairs staff was also there to highlight departments exclusive to the Downtown campus. These services are available to all UCF and Valencia College Downtown students. Highlighted areas included Career and Internship Services, First Stop, Student Success, Student Engagement, Well-Being, and more!

In partnership with Valencia College, the new campus serves more than 7,000 students in the heart of downtown Orlando. In addition to academics, UCF Downtown offers students a complete campus experience with student housing, dining, recreation, well-being, volunteer and service opportunities, as well as student clubs and organizations.
