The 2017 Graduation Success Rate for UCF student-athletes has increased from 93 to 94 percent.
The university recently submitted its most recent graduation data to the NCAA, which will release nationwide results later this year.

“We’re very proud of the academic culture in our athletics department,” said Daniel J. White, UCF’s vice president and director of Athletics. “Everyone involved in UCF Athletics – the student-athletes, coaches, academic staff and administration – is committed to graduation being the ultimate goal for our student-athletes.”

UCF’s 2016 score gave the Knights the best graduation rate of any public NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision institution for a third straight year.

“A 94 percent graduation success rate tells me that our coaches are outstanding recruiters who prioritize academics within their sport programs,” said Eric Wood, senior associate athletic director for Academic Services. “It also shows we have an academic support staff that is committed to putting our student-athletes in the best position to graduate.”

The data in the report is based on a six-year graduation rate. The GSR is designed to show the proportion of student-athletes who earn a college degree.
