Safe Knight Week is an annual partnership between numerous campus partners Posted Friday, March 4, 2022 @ 8:41 AM Safe Knight Week 2022 was a collaboration between Wellness and Health Promotion Services (WHPS), Student Health Services, Counseling and Psychological Service (CAPS), Student Care Services, Emergency Management, and Student Government. Traditionally, the week kicks off with the Safe Knight Week Carnival; and this year was no exception! Attendees played on inflatable games, enjoyed free snacks, received UCF promotional items; all while learning about health and wellness. This year, more than 400 students registered at the event! Knights had the opportunity to experience nearly 20 first responder vehicles provided by a dozen participating agencies. Student Legal Services (SLS) engaged with more than 150 community members, including many first-time interactions with Knights. Student Health promoted sun safety and smoking cessation. Safe Knight Week began ten years ago on a much smaller scale with fewer departments participating. The event continues to grow each year with more partners joining the week-long extravaganza.
