UCF First Year Experience, in partnership with Housing and Residence Life, Student Care Services, and Wellness and Health Promotion Services hosted UCF Friendsgiving! Funded by the Parent and Family Fund Grant, UCF Friendsgiving is an initiative designed to meet the needs of our students who don’t have a location identified to celebrate Thanksgiving.  This year, an amazing team of volunteers served meals to nearly 60 students. See more photos from Friendsgiving on the First Year Experience Facebook.

Castles for Knights organized their own Thanksgiving event. In addition to turkey dinner with all the trimmings, students received donated giveaways from Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Disney Springs, and more!  The event was made possible through the work of Multicultural Academic and Support Services, Housing and Residence Life, and First Year Experience.  In addition to providing for students, the local community benefited as well, with the remaining food donated to two Orlando homeless shelters.
