UCF Career Services produced the Spring Education Career Fair on Friday, March 6, 2020.

Students interested in becoming teachers or administrators in K-12 education had the opportunity to meet with representatives from 50 organizations during last week’s Spring Education Career Fair. Many of those organizations hired students on-the-spot! Employer evaluations revealed that 48 job offers were extended and more than half of the student evaluations reported receiving either an interview or job offer as a result of participating in the fair. The total number is likely even higher as that number does not include Orange County.

Overall, 236 students attended the fair and nearly 80 students took advantage of the LinedIn photo booth to receive an updated professional headshot.

Student were eager to share their excitement over the event, commenting that the best part was the recruiting advice and information from fellow educators, the creative solutions, and the wealth of resources offered. One student commented, “I received help on how to fill out my online employment application for the county,” Another student was pleased to share that they received a conditional job offer for Polk Country. Other students were excited about booking follow-up interviews.
