SDES Staff Book Scholarship

Application Deadline: September 13, 2019 by 5 p.m.

Four $50 scholarships will be awarded for Fall 2019. To apply for the fall semester, please read the criteria below:


  • Has been employed in SDES as a full-time USPS or A&P employee for at least one year
  • Has not been awarded an SDES Book Scholarship within the past 12 months
  • Must be a degree-seeking student and have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (graduate)
  • Classes must be taken at UCF
  • Spouses and/or dependents not eligible for book award
  • Attach a short essay of your goals in pursuing your degree
  • A copy of your textbook receipt will be required if you are awarded a book scholarship

NOTE: Application deadline is September 13, 2019 at 5 p.m. All applicants will be notified by September 23, 2019.
