Mr. A. J. Range has worked as a professional in Higher Education for over 40 years, covering a broad array of roles and responsibilities, at several different institutions. After getting his start at a Florida Community College in student services as an Occupational Specialist, Mr. Range has since worked with students, student groups, faculty, staff, administration, and community groups in a wide variety of positions in: housing and residence life, counseling, multicultural student services, academic support services, student activities, campus life, judicial affairs, regional campuses, and special services. Mr. Range joined the University of Central Florida in 1994 as the Director of the Office of Multicultural Student Services. Currently serving as an Assistant Vice President of Student Development and Enrollment Services, he works closely with Neighborhood Relations and Safety Education and the Office of Student Legal Services. Mr. Range has presented at local, regional, and national conferences on a variety of topics. He is married and has one son. While devoting time, energy, and talent to Rotary International for over 20 years, Mr. Range is also an officer in his local congregation. Mr. Range received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, his Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Florida A. & M. University and has earned several hours toward a doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of Tennessee.
