Alicia Keaton is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in higher education, specializing primarily in financial aid. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University and an MBA from Wayne State University.

A native of Michigan, Ms. Keaton began her career at Wayne State University before advancing to roles at the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida. At UCF, she served as the financial aid director and, in January 2023, was appointed interim associate vice president for Enrollment Planning and Management. In this role, she oversees the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Student Financial Assistance, the Registrar’s Office, and enrollment planning.

Ms. Keaton has actively contributed to numerous university committees, focusing on compliance, ethics, student retention, first-generation student support, and enrollment management. Throughout her career, she has been involved in state, regional, and national higher education associations, serving in various capacities ranging from presenter to leadership.

Guided by her father’s philosophy, “Leave a place better than you found it: this will be your legacy,” Ms. Keaton is dedicated to making a positive impact in higher education through her leadership and service.
