UCF Transfer and Transition Services (TTS) works to prepare, transition, and connect incoming transfer students at UCF. Each semester, TTS hosts a series of events during the first week to get students engaged and connected. This spring, Transfer Connections was a resource fair held adjacent to the TTS office, giving new students an opportunity to connect with the UCF Library, UCF Abroad, Honors Research,  SARC, Rec & Wellness, Financial Aid, CAPS, and transfer-specific involvement programs such as LINK – transfer track, and Tau Sigma national transfer honor society. Students were encouraged to download Goosechase and join the LINK program while also visiting the various departments that were eager to share resources with them.

Union Quest, a scavenger hunt held in the Student Union, was held on Wednesday, January 9. Students had the opportunity to connect with U.N.I.T.E (Unlocking a Network of Intentional Transfer Engagement) Ambassadors, who led an ice breaker event before leading students on a quest to discover the various resources within the Student Union. Scavenger stops included SGA, MASS, the HUB, Print Lab, Reflection & Prayer room, and OSI.

Students who completed exit surveys at the close of each event were able to indicate at least 3 resources they were connected to at each event. View photos from the events on the UCF Transfer and Transition Flickr page.
