Assistant Vice Provost, Career Planning and Academic Engagement 407-823-1788 KRS@ucf.edu Kimberly R. Schneider has been at the University of Central Florida since 2007. She currently serves as the assistant vice provost within the Division of Student Success in Well-Being overseeing centralized Career Planning and Academic Engagement departments and units. She previously served as the assistant dean in the College of Undergraduate Studies and as the founding director of the UCF Office of Undergraduate Research. She has a B.S. from the University of Florida in Zoology and Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina in Biological Sciences. Her current research program focuses on science education and High Impact Practices (HIP) engagement. As an active scholar, she has published 26 peer review research articles and has several active grants focused on STEM engagement in undergraduate research and HIPs through the National Science Foundation.
